What if we built something that really worked this time?

Business Consulting & Web Design Services

I primarily work with mission-driven organizations and enterprises, including nonprofits, public-interest initiatives, and purpose-led businesses, such as social enterprises and B Corps. I’m always open to partnering on work aligned with these values across the Olympic Peninsula and remotely worldwide.

Where strategy meets implementation

With over 15 years of global experience, I’ve learned that good ideas only matter if they can be carried out in practice. That’s why I focus on work where public-facing clarity and internal systems have to align — supporting organizations that need their ideas to function in practice, not just on paper.

My approach focuses on clear communication, effective operations, and building structures that hold up as organizations grow.

I typically work with mission-driven enterprises and organizations at moments of growth or transition, when existing systems are under strain and clarity becomes essential. My role is to help align what your organization communicates publicly with the internal structures that support your work day to day.

Who Is Behind Marika Olson Consulting?

Marika Olson - A woman with short, curly brown hair smiling at the camera, dressed in a black blazer and red top, wearing silver earrings, against a gray background.

Hi, I’m Marika, nice to meet you

I spent over 15 years working in international development, managing complex programs of up to $250 million across four continents. My experience spans sectors from agriculture and renewable energy to IT, tourism, and institutional reform, often in environments where systems had to work under real pressure.

Today, I bring that same strategic rigor and practical focus to mission-driven organizations and enterprises across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, partnering with teams to clarify systems, strengthen operations, and build structures that support meaningful work as it grows.
