What potential could you unlock with proposals that

express your impact with clarity

and connect directly to what donors care about most?

Grant & Proposal Writing

Clear, compelling proposals that help your work get funded.

Securing funding shouldn’t feel overwhelming. I help you design polished, funder-ready materials that communicate your vision with confidence, clarity, and in a way that speaks to the target audience’s own narrative. Whether you’re applying for a competitive grant, preparing a donor pitch, or developing a concept note, we’ll create a cohesive narrative that aligns your goals with what reviewers need to see—without unnecessary jargon or stress.

With over 15 years reviewing grants and proposals, my approach blends strategy, structure, and storytelling. Together, we will transform early notes, drafts, or loosely formed ideas into a strong, persuasive case for support. You remain the expert in your work; my role is to make sure the value of that work is unmistakable on the page.

How I Support You

Frequently Asked Questions

Our work together is collaborative and grounded in your goals. You bring the idea; I bring the structure, clarity, and expertise to help it stand out. After an initial consultation, you’ll receive a clear project plan, timeline, and draft structure so you always know exactly what comes next.

  • I work across both the nonprofit and private sectors. This includes grant applications, donor proposals, concept notes, business proposals, RFP responses, partnership pitches, and strategic project submissions. • Absolutely. Many clients begin with scattered notes, drafts, or a general direction. I help shape those early ideas into a clear structure, develop the narrative, and refine your value proposition—whether for funders, investors, corporate partners, or internal leadership. I can also help you redesign your proposals for multiple audiences.

  • Either. I can create a full proposal from the ground up or refine your draft to improve clarity, alignment, narrative strength, and strategic positioning. You choose the level of support that fits your team’s needs.

  • Timelines depend on the complexity of the opportunity and the maturity of your materials. After reviewing your goals, I provide a clear timeline and outline so you always know what to expect—whether it’s a quick-turn corporate proposal or a multi-stage grant submission.

  • Yes. I can support the narrative and explanation behind your budget, ensuring it clearly demonstrates rationale, feasibility, and alignment with funder or client expectations. For more complex financial modeling, we can determine the best approach together.

  • No consultant can guarantee an award decision, whether from donors, investors, or procurement offices. My role is to ensure your proposal is clear, compelling, strategically aligned, and positioned as strongly as possible for competitive review.

  • Your insight, context, and expertise. I may request background documents, strategic plans, metrics, financial details, or past proposals. I handle the structure, clarity, and narrative development so you can stay focused on your core work.

Fees & Engagement Options

Grant and proposal writing is billed at a base rate of $40 per hour, which includes concept development, narrative drafting, editing, and preparation of supporting materials. Because the needs of each proposal vary widely — from short concept notes to full competitive applications — pricing is determined by the scope and depth of the work.

For clients who prefer a predictable structure, I also offer deliverables-based contracts, priced according to the complexity of the opportunity and the level of support required. Fees are flexible and negotiable, particularly for small organizations or early-stage teams with limited budgets.

My goal is to provide clear, accessible support that strengthens your competitiveness without creating financial strain. After an initial consultation, you’ll receive a transparent project estimate and recommended plan.
